I love this app! I had first discovered the Good News Translation while visiting my grandpa. I decided to borrow his bible. It was so awesome to find that this was FREE on the App Store! When you decide to come close to God He will indeed come close to you because He is faithful. Give it a chance and don’t give up!

The app works great and you can even take notes with it. You can also change the font size. Also, it is very easy to navigate!

The Good News Bible Catholic

It’s a very good book and makes for a very good read. It’s well organized and easy to use, especially when looking for a particular chspter or section to read.
My only suggestion to improve is on the audio version. It’s rather dry and does not deliver the message well. It would be best if one can have a real the app priest or lector who is familiar with the story, and has been a real Bible reader at a live mass like the ones who do the readings in The Sunday Mass of the Passionist Community and who know how to deliver the message in each passage, could read and deliver the audio version, it would be perfect. As it is, it’s good enough. I just turn off the audio, so I can appreciate the message and not be distracted by the monotone reading.

The only suggestion I would make is to be able to transition from one chapter to the next with a “next” button.

Just found this app with this Bible version this week and I am really happy as it is a lot easier to read, specially when using it with youth or children.
One improvement is to highlight the titles that are within chapters, otherwise they seem to be part of the text and is confusing.
