Tried three and we love this one the most

So I was looking for a caricature maker and came across this app developers Moment Cam which was great. It used your photo create a pretty good cartoon avatar of you which you could then stick into various scenes. But you could also insert it into emoticon gifs. They’ve now separated the emoticons into its own app, which is this one, this app, and it continues to work great. I also tried Bitmoji (emojis don’t move and you need an account) and Emoji Me (emojis move but scenes are limited and doesn’t really use your photo except for comparison of an avatar you put together, but still not bad). I will stick with Moji Pop. There is a monthly fee you can pay for more features, but there are enough free ones that you can get a lot out of it.

Truly lifelike image from your picture and beautiful selection of charicatures and stickers. I'd have given it 5 stars but the black and white charicatures now show only a blank face. It worked before but after subscribing, color is good but B&W not so much. Hope they can fix it soon.
Still doesn’t pay attention to gender

The biggest problem with this app is it doesn’t pay attention to the gender of your avatar. I do not like being presented with caricatures and stickers that have my likeness but not my gender identity. Please make this a setting! I’m sure there are some men who might want to see themselves in a dress with breasts. And some women who would want to see themselves in menswear. A setting would solve this. I don’t want to see myself cross dressed!

This app is great the cartoons look realistic. I wish i could pay to get the icon off of the picture that’s annoying when i want to make it my social media profile picture!
