Download and install the Threader app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Threader on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Threader"
- The search will reveal the Threader app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Threader is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Threader.
- Now enjoy Threader on PC.
- Using Threader on Mac OS:

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Threader:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Threader" » Click "Install" to install Threader
- Threader will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Love this app & the support!

I rarely write reviews; actually, I’m trying to reduce 3rd party apps from my phone. (See: news. hacks. data breaches. I am the commodity. etc)
But I’m a curious person, a news junkie & our current US political scene could not be more fascinating. So, I love twitter. I love reading scientists, journalist, wonks, gossip & memes.
Long way to say I’m so glad for this app! I’m so grateful to find a way to gracefully bookmark important stuff. Then, a few days ago the app stopped working. So I contacted the devs, Marie & Vincent. They are a delight! Ethical & hardworking. While talking w/ them I asked @ privacy & like their answer: “... we don’t sell you data. We don’t even put ads on our apps. We really care about the privacy and are working hard to make a clean product. We decided to chose premium subscriptions as a business model to rely on anyone except the ones who pay for our service.”
My personal financial model is to support developers (especially small devs) & businesses that respect me & their customers, and make great products & services.
Keeping this app & my annual subscription.

Terrible experience since iOS 13

I am extremely frustrated with this app since the iOS 13 update - usability is severely hindered -opening a thread via Twitter does not allow me to save bookmarks in addition to it frequently stalling.
The app in its current build is simply not usable and not worth paying for. I can’t rely on this app anymore and have had to remove it from my workflow.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking about paying subscribing and giving money to this app to wait until there is a stable release

My favorite way of reading threads. Compiling threads could be done better, but I understand working with Ing the constraints of Twitter. However, I would like to be able to make my own categories based on lists of users one follows and thread keyword search.
