Didn’t expect to love it so much

aaaa I love this game so muchh. I didn’t expect to since i haven’t gotten hooked into any mobile games in a while but this had me obsessed. I’m a college student and since I didn’t have classes today I ended up getting wound up in this. It’s so fun and relaxing. I love the app Dad a lot, so having all the mini interactions/dialogue with the characters and all the mini references from episodes is so awesome. I haven’t watched the show in months and the mini references from the past episodes genuinely made me laugh. And all the clone rogers? I love them and I’ve genuinely getting attached, I don’t think I’ll have it in me to kick any of them out, the being able to name them is a cool bonus. Awesome game, can’t wait to see what future updates bring!

So I really like the game because I love the app dad and I think these types of game styles are fun. However once you get more into the game you’ll start to battle players that have 60k-80k power and you’ll have like 43k power which obviously makes it unfair. You’d basically have to have a ton of legendary items to be that high and also have combat power and so on. So that part I don’t really like that eventually it’s like a pay 2 win game. You can get item chests sometimes from event stuff or after watching like 5 ads one every 6hrs but that would take a ton of time since you might even get a good item. It might be food or something else. There’s also one free chest every day but it’s not always a good reward. The building upgrades eventually get really bad to where you’ll have to figure something out and buy it with gold or save it and not get attacked by random people who will take your money and resources away. So yeah.
Unexpected Fun

This game is a mix of Fallout Shelter and Clash of Clans/Lords Mobile. Build your shelter, do missions that involve battling enemies, join a clan and fight enemies while growing your army of different Roger personas. The character dialogue is one of my favorite aspects of this game. Each character is accurate to the TV personas. Their dialogue is humorous and it’s almost like mini episodes of the show. This game has no ads, and so far has not needed any purchases to continue playing and having fun. I hope the developers keep it this way. If you’re an the app Dad fan, and a fan of this genre of gaming, this is for sure the game for you.
Great start. Now letting me down.

So I started the game hot. It was fun and everything I wanted in a phone game. I even spent money. Like $50 cause I was hype and wanted to boost up my players. Now I’m deep in the game and I’ve hit a wall. I can’t spend more money to do the things I need to because I’m not about to drop another $50 or more. I’ve spent days earning money and building up my supplies to upgrade my rooms but it’s been like two weeks and there just not much I can do until I upgrade like 7 more rooms. I can’t make my fighters better. I can’t beat the current level. I’m just stuck. Hoping for an update that will either make certain things easier or add more to do otherwise I think this game may have been a bust. But it was a fun month so I can’t be too upset.
