  • It's great and free

    By Pusher911 (Pcmac user)

My only complaint is with the categories being mandatory, and no option to turn off prompts to delete entire article lists. It also handles keyboard strokes in app poorly. Still better than most in its simplicity and design which do RSS how it should without all the frills and nonsense. Stay 7+ compatible, champ.
  • Almost Perfect

    By Jorge14 (Pcmac user)

I have been using NetNewsWire prior to this app and I must say that I like the navigation and features of the app much more. I love being able to add feeds through the app rather than having to go online like with NNW. One feature I would like though is a Mark All As Read button. It would also be nice if instead of having to manually refresh the feeds they would update automatically. Other than that I think this app is great. If that gets added I would change my rating to 5 UPDATE: The 1.1 update addressed everything that was a negative for me. The Mark All As Read button was a little hard to find and would be better located inside the feed, but having Swipe To Delete provides an alternative... To the Devs, Thanks for listening to your app's users!
  • Still has problems under iOS 5.1.1

    By dave platt (Pcmac user)

Still tends to crash on original iPad when rendering very complex pages with lots of images (e.g. CNN). Worse if other apps are open but it can happen even when the app is the only app running. Memory management problem? Safari can display those same pages without difficulty. New UI has a bug. Sometimes when returning from the "full article page" it reverts to the old UI (partially)... list of available articles is shown full-width rather than in the narrow-column overlay style. Once this happens there seems to be no way to view articles again... they do not display when selected. Only way to correct the problem is to forcibly shut down the app and then restart it.
  • Just one problem...

    By etheredhead (Pcmac user)

I'm using this on an iPad (first generation) and have been very impressed with this app. This update has given us a sleek, new UI which I have come to love. Although, I would also agree with another comment that requests a bolder look for unread items as it was in the past. Unfortunately, the problem that I've run into now is that it will not open some of my articles. They appear in my list to read, but when I click on the item, it just stays highlighted and does not load. As someone who uses this app on a daily basis, I hope that this can be fixed soon. Otherwise, keep up the great work! :)
