Love the site, but the app blows
By indygirlie (Pcmac user)
I generall like this app because I find it to be a nice roundup of news and content. Well-rounded without being totally repetitive. My issue is not with this app, but the this app app. The site is much more enjoyable to use in a Safari tab. The app (on iPad at least) is completely unreliable. I usually read the articles in the morning and at night, and I tell you that the app crashes a MINIMUM of three times a day- usually upon opening and trying to rea the first article. Even if this were one of those apps that is really just a scaled-down web browser pretending to be an app it would be better and more reliable. It has been buggy for several revisions now.

Yes it crashes but the content is too good not to re-download
By MessyJess19 (Pcmac user)
This is probably the 50th time I have had to uninstall and then reinstall this app. I think I have been a this app app user for at least 4 + years so maybe this is the 100th time. The content is so refreshing compared to any other news app that I will continue to reinstall this app. So funny how over so much time this developer can not seem to figure out how to make this app not crash. This time around the app crashes any time I close the app when I am NOT in the home screen news feed. Slap my head every time I forget🤦♀️. Seriously, love the content!

3 years since last update? Really???
By JoeyChords (Pcmac user)
Um, hello this app staff. I love the content of your site. However, I find it easier to use apps to get news-style content. I don’t know if you’re aware, but your app is nearly unusable in its current outdated form. Videos do not work because the ad service you’re using causes errors each time it tries to roll an ad. This really shouldn’t be a big deal to fix. A tiny company no one has ever heard of could afford to do it. Your site is well known. Why don’t you fix this problem? When you put an app in the store, you have to expect that it will need some ongoing maintenance. 3 years without an update is pretty silly. I hate to do it, but I’m finally deleting this. Let me know if you ever get it together, and I’ll be happy to reinstall.

Formerly the Champion
By YouOnceWorkedSoWell (Pcmac user)
After Google disbanded their reader service, I was super relieved to migrate over to this app. Not only have I found their interface to be right up my alley. But I've also very much so enjoyed their curated posts.
This app was my go to when using my phone for a good two or three years. I would gladly have paid a premium price for it.
However, it now crashes so consistently that I've had to stop using it. It can easily crash a dozen times within a few short minutes. It's a shame, as this app itself is such a great service. Here's to hoping that they update this.
