Software Features and Description

1. * GPS View: displays GPS data from Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory (lat, long, alt, speed, bearing, GPS fix mode, accuracy, dilution of precision, GPS time and date) or from the CoreLocation framework (lat, long, alt, speed and bearing only).

2. * Hardware View: displays settings of the UltiMate GPS accessory and utility buttons to interact with the UltiMate GPS accessory (AGPS data upload for faster lock times, hot/warm/cold restarts, factory reset, firmware updates).

3. * Satellite View: displays GPS satellites in view and their signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) as reported by Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory.

4. * Preferences View: allows customization of the settings of Emprum's UltiMate GPS App and shows version information as well as Emprum's Business Philosophy (going green and a humanitarian cause).

5. *Assisted GPS (AGPS) data upload to the UltiMate GPS accessory is now available for GPS satellite orbit prediction and faster GPS lock times.

6. An uploaded AGPS data set will store 2 weeks of satellite orbits into the UltiMate GPS accessory.

7. Emprum's UltiMate GPS App is the ultimate resource to control and interact with Emprum's UltiMate GPS accessory.

8. * Includes UltiMate GPS firmware v1.0.8 which supports full NMEA support for third party App Store applications like e.g. Harry's LapTimer.

Download and install the UltiMate GPS app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using UltiMate GPS on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "UltiMate GPS"
The search will reveal the UltiMate GPS app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once UltiMate GPS is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including UltiMate GPS.
Now enjoy UltiMate GPS on PC.

To get UltiMate GPS on Windows 11, check if there's a native UltiMate GPS Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing UltiMate GPS:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "UltiMate GPS" » Click "Install" to install UltiMate GPS
- UltiMate GPS will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Makes it possible to track where the internal GPS chip can't

I don't understand the complaints against this app being a sales ploy... Yes, you need to buy the Emprum receiver, which is excellent, and then they get criticized for publishing an app that enables their device? Why? Anyone who writes such a review deserves no respect. This us a very good hardware and software combination. If you need to use a remote GPS receiver, this is the choice.

I downloaded this to set up Emprum's GPS. Used it on an ipad3 with the TomTom app. It provides five times the frequency of update, faster satellite acquisition, more accurate location than the embedded GPS. We hit every roundabout perfectly. The little thing was great.

It says that needs an external hardware(gps) and don't works with the internal iPhone Gps

Ripped off by an app. - first time ever! This app makes you buy their gps receiver instead of using an iPhone's built in receiver. I want my money back. Get Trimble's free app"my topo maps" instead - its free and it's a great app!
