1. Darbi app provides the users with live data on traffic conditions, traffic incidents and road works in Abu Dhabi.

2. Users can also plan journey around Abu Dhabi city and get real time information of Bus schedules and facilitate Toping up Hafilat Card.

3. The Integrated Transport Centre(ITC) presents the new update of Darbi application for Abu Dhabi residents and visitors.

4. The app also enables users to book a taxi, pay for on-street Mawaqif parking, and obtain ferry schedule information.

5. Darbi Mobile provides an “Intelligent Transport System in the palm of your hand”.

6. For many of the system functions, an access to GPS location information on the smartphone is also required.

7. In addition, it provides access to road service patrol.

8. It also enables them to contact ITC through a “Geofeedback” feature to report any complains related to transportation services.

9. The application requires at least 3G network or Wi-Fi access.

✔ Pros:

Sluggish

I was so excited to see that it has an app for the Apple Watch but then when I used it, it didn't work at all. At first I thought it was the initial sync but then I relaunched it and it was the same. Boot up screen took so long and I was introduced to two buttons. One tells me road closures (that one worked as programmed) but then the other (which was the most important) crashed on launch. I was supposed to see the bus timings through that option but whenever I tap on a location, it jjst crashed. Hopefully it gets fixed cause it will be really helpful to have it at a ready whenever I'm out without the need to pull my phone out.

Bus timings in the app are very confusing. One second you see the bus is 5 more minutes then next thing you know the bus has left the station already. Not very helpful. Please improve on this.
mobile number doesnt work

i use virgin mobile as my wireless carrier. i've been trying to register my phone number, but it keeps showing the error "the mobile number format is incorrect." i've entered every combination of my mobile number and still doesn't work.

I like the mawaqif payment feature the most, it makes me life easier. The road closure, accidents or disabled vehicles update feature make it better to avoid those roads specially in Abu Dhabi city. Busses timing and routes is a good idea for a start.
