What is MKSensation?

The MKSensation is a live gigging module and rompler designed for musicians to have the essential sounds needed for a live session, gig, church service, or studio session. It is a simple and easy-to-use app that provides warm, thick, and realistic sounds that are perfect for layering and inspiration. The app is based on the roots of gospel musicians who used a multi-tier stack of keyboards and modules all layered together with a very intricate MIDI routing setup with all of their presets ready for live worship.

Software Features and Description

1. Our setup would consist of a warm acoustic piano; a CP80 type of semi-realistic piano; lush strings; warm pad with filter cutoff; a very expressive tine; phat synth brass; a nice buzz saw; and a good ol' real brass sound.

2. The MKSensation is a player's live gigging module designed to give you the bread and butter sounds needed for a live session, gig, church service, or studio session.

3. For example if you want your latency (the time between you hitting the keys and you hearing the sound) to go down, then you probably won’t be able to play as many sounds at once.

4. You could could call this your instant rompler full of the sounds you would use all of the time and given our reputation of sampling, you know the sounds will be very warm, thick, and realistic.

5. Think about it....When you go to the music store to try out a new synth, what do you end up playing the most...? You play the pianos, keys, strings, horns, and synth sounds.

6. You can layer as many sounds as CPU permits, for instant inspiration on your iPad.

7. In the good ol' days we would have our multi-tier stack of keyboards and modules all layered together with a very intricate MIDI routing setup with all of or presets ready for live worship.

8. Between these few staple sounds, we were ready for any gig, service, studio session, or performance.

9. As with anything, don’t go crazy! Don’t think you can activate 5-6 sounds and play full glissandos and you will not max out your CPU.

10. There is no fancy splash page and it's not rattled with hundreds of sounds.

11. It's designed to be loaded and played for instant layering and inspiration.

Download and install the MKSensation app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MKSensation on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MKSensation"
The search will reveal the MKSensation app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MKSensation is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MKSensation.
Now enjoy MKSensation on PC.

To get MKSensation on Windows 11, check if there's a native MKSensation Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing MKSensation:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "MKSensation" » Click "Install" to install MKSensation
- MKSensation will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Good interface with direct access to all the sounds you'll probably need. Larger fingers may have issues with interface on non iPad iDevices. If your used to the Kontakt versions sound quality you may be disappointed. Not sure this app was re written to take advantage of later iDevices added memory. Pads and strings have good depth. Piano 1 sound is stale. EP 2 Piano is very useable. Power Grand is done very well. Not all sounds have consistent sound quality but like mentioned above, you can't beat the convenience. Audio Bus support is a big plus. 3 strong stars.

I am a working musician who also plays in church. This app has become a go-to workhorse. I have recently invested in keyboard apps & found the convenience to to be wonderful. But upon downloading this app, I have opened up a wealth of new sonic possibilities. I generally play the Motif 8 at church. Coupled with this app, the sounds are amazing. I'm hoping that the developers will allow it to be merged with apps like Korg Gadget. If that happens, then the ceiling would be truly shattered!

Installed this on my IPhone 8. Using it along with the Korg Plugkey and a m-audio keystation 88. Simple setup and installation. The EP-1 and Acoustic Piano are excellent. Strings and Pad are great for layering. The Piano 1 & 2 are accurate to the old rackmount synth but I wouldn’t use them much. This is everything you need for most church services and gospel gigs. Impressive job done by this company.

...worth 5 stars (& truly is), except it doesn't request the option to keep screen from auto locking. User has to manually turn off auto lock each time before using app. Yet, don't sleep. iPad owners who gig, especially church musicians, this is your chance to own the classic mks set up!
